Service Description:
  • Operates an 18-bed acute care facility and provides an array of services
  • Transports complex medical patients to larger centres to receive specialized care
  • Serves as both a site receiving consults for local patients and for providing consults in the First Nations communities


    • Provides information and services to individuals and families affected by addictions issues
    Offers the following services to individuals and families with problems related to alcohol, drugs and/or gambling:
    • Assessment
    • Counselling
    • Education
    • Community-based treatment
    • Aftercare support
    • Family support and education
    • Referrals to residential treatment programs
    Also holds group workshops for:
    • Gambling Prevention and Awareness
    • Substance Abuse Education

    • Open to referrals from any source including self-referral

    • Intake assessment required, by phone or walk-in

    • All services confidential
    Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
    • Individuals 12 years of age and older struggling with substance abuse and/or gambling addiction issues

    • Youth under the age of 16 must have a consent form signed by parent or guardian
