Service Description:	Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Sandy Lake First Nation Independent First Nation (No Tribal Council affiliation) Political Territorial Organization: Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN) Treaty #5 Offers a comprehensive holistic program for Aboriginal children and their families living on-reserve to prepare young children for school Strives to meet the emotional, social, health and nutritional needs of children Offers activities such as family gym time, arts and crafts, breakfast and circle time Participates in community events and special celebrations Offers daily programs focused on: Education Health and nutrition Native culture and language Parental and family involvement Social support
