Service Description:	Addresses public health issues and promotes healthy living Administers health promotion and disease prevention programs within the Kenora and Rainy River Districts Provides information on preventative dental health practices Conducts yearly surveys of school children's dental requirements to enhance existing programs and to determine gaps Offers a dental screening program in schools Provides assistance in finding a dentist, filling out forms etc, for individuals who qualify for free dental services Offers the following programs that may qualify people for free dental services: Children's Oral Health Initiative (COHI) Green Door Project Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO) Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP) Assists with: finding a dentist filling out forms/applications

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:	Children's Oral Health Initiative (COHI): First Nations children aged 0-7 years old and their parents/caregivers Green Door Project: Emergency dental services for people aged 18-64 years of age who have no other form of dental coverage Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO): Children 0-17 years of age Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP): Low-income seniors 65 years of age and older
