Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Mishkosiminiziibiing First Nation
  • Tribal Council: Anishinaabeg of Kabapikotawangag Resource Council (AKRC)

Operates a community public library and loans out various items including the following:
  • Books, magazines, and audio visual material (DVDs, CDs), and video games (only for use at library)
  • Four iPads and 2 Kobo readers for use at the library
  • Material available through inter library loan
  • Library members have inter-library privileges with Rainy River Public Library; books borrowed must be returned to same library
Provides a wide variety of programs and services:
  • Faxing, laminating and photocopying
  • Internet and wireless access
  • Information service
  • Reference and research help
Offers a variety of age appropriate programs and services. Call for more information on programs and services available at this location. Examples include:
  • Book clubs
  • Homework help
  • Literacy programs
  • Reading programs
  • Story time
Community Access Program (CAP) North 1 Network
  • Provides a technology centre
  • Gives public access to the Internet and holds workshops to teach the skills to use it
