Service Description: Offering children and youth a home while their own family is unable to care for them * provides information and support to families in the foster care program who open their home to the children and youth requiring a nurturing and stable environment

  • provides individuals thinking of fostering a child with information on foster care program
  • responds to calls from individuals looking to become a foster parent
  • retains legal responsibility for the child while the child resides in foster care  
  • provides initial orientation and ongoing training programs to families who foster
  • reimburses for costs for various expenses associated with fostering a child
  • provides access to a full range of therapeutic and relief service
