Service Description: Provides permanent homes for children and youth who cannot remain with or be returned to birth families * services include:

  • assists birth mother/father in making informed choices and offers support before and after birth
  • conducts home studies on prospective adoptive families
  • offers support to individuals waiting to adopt a child and after the child joins the family
  • assists in locating non-identifying information with the Adoption Disclosure Register
  • assists with searches through contact with a birth relative and offers support if a reunion is requested
