| Service Description: | The 10-bed Acute Assessment Treatment Unit provides short-term, hospitalization for adults coping with an acute mental health and/or addictions disorder. Serves adults 19 years of age and older whose mental health needs cannot be met on an outpatient basis. Criteria for admission include: high-risk of harm to self or others; acute psychiatric states including psychosis or acute stress response syndromes requiring assessment and treatment in a safe, supervised setting. | ||
