| Service Description: | Provides crisis consultation and support to the Emergency Department and other clinical patient care units within Markham Stouffville Hospital. Appointments with a social worker in the Urgent Care Clinic are facilitated through Crisis Services. | ||
| Application: | Clients are referred through an emergency department physician. The crisis staff facilitates admission to inpatient services, schedule urgent clinic follow up appointment, and/or referral to community resources. | ||
