Obstetrics unit provides safe, skilled and individualized care for expectant mothers * has 3 labour and delivery rooms as well as postpartum beds for seven patients * healthcare team includes obstetricians, family physicians, anesthetists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, midwives, social workers and nurses * Doula Care is welcomed Personalized tour of the hospital's obstetric unit is available * call 905-873-0111 ext 8245 to book a prenatal tour Breastfeeding clinics provide breastfeeding support services for babies born at Georgetown Hospital or babies that have a physician or midwife with Halton Healthcare privileges * for more information about breastfeeding or to find a support group, visit the Halton Baby Friendly Initiative at www.babyfriendlyhalton.ca |
