  • Personal Safety - what to know when visiting tattoo, piercing, tanning, hair salons, and other businesses
  • Mosquitoes, ticks and bedbugs - protect yourself against West Nile Virus and Lyme disease, and avoid a bed bug infestation
  • Hot weather and heat warnings - how to avoid heat related illnesses and learn when we issue heat warnings
  • Animals and rabies - how to help prevent rabies and details about adopting or importing dogs from outside Canada
