Service Description: Cardiac care program offering three stages of supervised exercise and education based on patients' stage of rehabilitation:
  • supervised walking program for people waiting to participate in cardiac rehabilitation
  • supervised cardiovascular and strength program for people who have been identified as appropriate by Hamilton Health Sciences' Cardiac Rehabilitation Team
  • supervised graduate program for people who have completed their hospital program and are ready for community reintegration
Fees: Included in YMCA membership
Application: Medical referral and stress test required
