Service Description:
  • Operates a fully-accredited, 60-bed acute care facility and provides an array of services
  • Administers the William A 'Bill' George Extended Care Facility


    • Education, Self-Management and Exercise Program for adults with history of cardiac disease
    • Offers a 3-month program for local patients; 6 month program for Northern patients
    • Provides assessment, stress test, exercise prescription, exercise sessions, and discharge completed on site
    • Option for in-home program (Northern patients)
    • Telemedicine connection for education sessions
    • Access to dietitian, social worker, and smoking cessation

    Application: Referral from Cardiologist or Primary Care Practitioner
