| Service Description: | Low barrier clinics for individuals looking for medical withdrawal/craving options and psycho social support with substance use concerns such for alcohol, cannabis, cocaine or opioids. Appointments are in person. Clinicians and nurses create an individual treatment plan for treating individuals struggling with substance use. They will: - Assess individual in order to determine psychosocial and withdrawal/craving medical needs; - Explore options, including the use of safe, effective medication that will help to address withdrawal symptoms and cravings. - Explore options and strategies, and provide resources to help minimize the risks of intoxication; - Engage in referral process for psycho social support such as counselling, detox, inpatient and outpatient treatment. | ||
