| Service Description: | Provides a safe therapeutic environment in which children can openly express their feelings and learn ways to cope better. Therapy models include play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Services provided to children aged 3-16 coping with issues such as: - Anxiety - ADHD - Grief - Poor self-esteem - Bullying (and other social difficulties) - Abuse - Trauma - Difficult adjusting to a significant change (such as moving, starting a new school, birth of a sibling) - Behavioural issues at home and/or school Children individually and in family therapy, and we offer parent consultation. | ||

| Application: | Contact us for information. The first step of referral is completing an assessment for the child. Once the assessment is completed, parents/guardians will receive feedback. Then parents and therapists will work together to come up with treatment goals that best fit the needs of the child and family. | ||
