Service Description:
  • Provides counselling, psychotherapy, education, and support services to assist individulas to make positive changes
  • Offers support in person, by appointment only or by phone, video call, and online counselling
  • Services are confidential and address personal, family, or work life issues for individuals, couples and families


    • Supports people from all income levels to achieve financial goals, reduce financial stress and achieve long term financial wellness
    Professional Financial Counsellors offer:
    • one-on-one coaching and counselling
    • spending plans and budgeting
    • support to access banking and income supports
    • financial literacy education
    • Registered Education Savings Plans (RESP) information and support
    • tax preparation clinics (through the Lakehead Social Planning Council)
    • support in understanding and accessing COVID-19 supports and payment relief options
