Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Pic Mobert First Nation
  • Tribal Council: Nokiiwin Tribal Council (NTC)
  • Political Territorial Organization: Anishinabek Nation, Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)
  • Robinson Superior Treaty


  • Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community as well as from/to Pic Mobert First Nation to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in the town of Marathon

    Application:
    • Requires written proof of medical appointment and pre-authorization by Health Centre

    • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

    • Advance cancellation recommended
    Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Members of Pic Mobert First Nation requiring assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury, age or do not have a vehicle
