| Service Description: |
Program developed to serve the needs of patients suffering from serious forms of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating and other eating disorders * contained and structured environment with the availability of several therapeutic modalities offered almost exclusively in group format Intensive Day Treatment Program: a day hospital program that accommodates a maximum of eight patients * offered to patients with serious forms of eating disorders Inpatient Symptom Interruption Program (6-bed unit): offered to patients with severe eating disorders who are at a high risk of being medically compromised because of severe weight loss and or severe purging behavior * this 8-week hospitalization aims at interrupting these symptoms in order to stabilize patients medically. Psychoeducation/CBT Outpatient Treatment Program: treatment modality for patients with mildly to moderately severe eating disorders * offers nutritional counseling provided by the program dietitian and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) provided by the program psychologist |
