Service Description: Mandated by law to:
  • investigate all reports or evidence of the possible abuse or neglect of children
  • ensure the safety of children who are in need of protection
  • to provide care for those children who are unable to remain in their own homes due to child protection concerns
  • to supervise the children under their care
  • to provide adoption services on behalf of children looking to adopt a suitable family
  • to provide services to families for protecting children or for the prevention of circumstances requiring the protection of children
Fees: Free
Application: Telephone call reporting will bring on an immediate response if a child is at risk of abuse
