Offers a variety of programs and services including housing to support residents of the District of Parry Sound Social housing: Funded by various government programs in which tenants pay reduced rents Homelessness prevention: Assists community members with housing issues * provides tenant and landlord education, mediation, and public education on homelessness and affordable housing issues Affordable housing programs: Provides funding for affordable housing options: assists low- to moderate-income households Rent supplement: Assists individuals in affording housing in private rental housing stock * supplement is paid to bridge the gap between the market rent charged for a unit and the amount a tenant can pay based on his/her income * program is available to landlords who qualify after an inspection of their property |
